OKGA : 2008 Reunions

Plans for OKG reunions in 2008 are already taking shape. Most are held in Sydney but also from time to time, reunions are held overseas or in Australian regional centres.  The latter are usually open to any Old Boys able to attend, regardless of age or Year group. For example, one is held in London each year and is open to all members of the Knox community and for the first time in 2007, a group of Sydney independent schools for girls and boys collaborated to stage a reunion of former students in New York. 

The Australian reunions are based on the year of leaving at HSC level (called the "Class of") and are held at five year intervals.  Reunions in Sydney are often held at the School, often in the KG1 facility offering excellent in-house catering and a view of Knox 1 from the verandah.

Getting Organised
Assistance with organisation, including up to date lists of the names and addresses for a "Class of", is available from the OKGA Office at 7 Woodville Avenue, Wahroonga 2076. Pamela Hitchcock is the initial contact for help with reunions at (02) 9487 0419 or by email at hitchcockp@knox.nsw.edu.au.  Reunion plans can be advertised in The Thistle by sending such requests to Pamela.  Reports and photos of reunions are also welcome.
