The foundation of an Old Boys’ Association in 1929 was in founding Headmaster MacNeil’s own words
- a great link between the past and the present.” Today the OKGA Scholarships are an important and practical way of maintaining the link to this tradition.

The Gerry Alldis Scholarship - Years 11 and 12

The Gerry Alldis scholarship is awarded on the basis of all-round ability and offers remission of tuition fees of 50% to Year 12 level. Bursaries based on financial need are also offered.

Applications are accepted for students currently at Knox Grammar School and other schools. About Gerry Alldis.

Notes:
An offer of a scholarship is based on results of the scholarship examination, interview and other supporting documentation. Only a short list of candidates will be interviewed.

All scholarships are held subject to good behaviour and diligence, including minimum standards of achievement. The School reserves the right to divide the proceeds of a single scholarship for award to more than one candidate when candidates are equal.

• The candidate’s birth certificate
• a recent photograph
• A reference from your present school or from a person unrelated to the applicant

Eligibility:

The Norman Winter Boarding Scholarship - Years 11 and 12

Description:
These scholarships are available to boys entering Year 11 and provide 50% remission of tuition and boarding fees to Year 12 level.

They are awarded to boys who are sons or grandsons of Knox Old Boys, have a demonstrable need to board and who would not be able to attend Knox Grammar School without financial support.

The conditions of the Scholarship are that it be available to support the education of a son or grandson of an Old Boy of Knox, who will be entering Year 11 as a boarder. The boy selected will exhibit characteristics of all-round achievement and will be a young man who it is considered will benefit from the wide range of opportunities available at the School. Consideration will be given to a boy who, without the scholarship, would not otherwise be able to attend Knox. About Norman Winter.

After online registration, all applicants are required to forward to the Registrar copies only of
• The candidate’s birth certificate
• a recent photograph
• A reference from your present school or from a person unrelated to the applicant

Eligibility:
Male students between the ages of 13 and 16, enrolled in Year 10.
