Senior : Current Community
|
Welcome to the section of our website designed specially for current members of our Senior School community, providing the detailed, topical and actionable information needed to help families get the most out of their involvement with the School.
Please visit other sections of the site, particularly that for Prospective Families. It provides valuable information about activities at Knox and an overview of the School's philosophies and facilities. Other sections of interest to our community include OKGA (Old Boy information) and the Knox Net section where all secured areas can be found, offering links to Hot Items (featuring hot news requiring immediate action for both Senior School and Prep families), Knox News (past editions of the weekly newsletters for both the Senior School and the Prep), the Photo Gallery, Docushare and a link to Webmail for staff and students to access their Knox email from outside the School. Details for contacting staff are found in the separate Contacts section.
To navigate your way around any section, expand the menu at the left by clicking on an item to display the information categories. To move to a completely different main section, use the grey navigation bar at the top of the page. If you wish to return to the home page, click on the logo at the top left of the page.
If you find any inaccurate information or can think of something valuable to add or amend, please share your ideas with the Webmaster at website@knox.nsw.edu.au - only with constructive feedback can this site be at its best for the Knox community. |

| Welcome to the Senior School!
The Senior School is energetic, engaging and purposeful in all it does. We value that intensity of purpose, the variety of activities and the high degree of involvement of our boys.
There are over 1,300 boys in the Senior School, with an average of 225 students in each Year group.
Knox's reputation rests on a diverse base of successes in academics, sport, music, pastoral care and gifted education.
We aim to provide breadth as well as depth in our curriculum. Boys are able to select from a broad range of subjects in Years 9 to 12, enabling them to keep their future options open. Nearly every boy at Knox is able to study their chosen subjects through to Higher School Certificate level.
The Senior School is a place where students can test their intellectual boundaries and explore their options for tertiary study. The majority of Year 12 students at Knox seek university places at the conclusion of their studies. Most of these students gain entry into the university course of their choice.
