To be abreast of all the latest scholarship, cadetship, tertiary open day information and a wide range of career related material, all boys in Yrs 10-12 have been enrolled in the Careers Central program which involves the receipt of twice weekly email updates together with access to the career data bank website of over 3,000 pages. This site, which won the 2005 world wide website of the year against over 10,000 entries, is the first Australian winner of the award and the first ever educational site winner.
Registering for the service
Parents of boys in Yrs 10-12 who wish to enrol and receive the same information as their sons can do so by registering at www.careercentral.com.au by:
- Click "Enter site"
- Go to "Schools' login" at the bottom right side of screen and click on "Parents"
- Go to login 2 - your school is registered but you are not yet personally registered and click on
Click here to do so"
- Complete the registration sections
- After completion of Step 4, click on "Click to process".
- Once successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation email to your nominated address.
It is essential all registered boys check their email up dates twice per week, as well as visiting the site regularly.
