The two Deputy Headmasters in the Senior School deputise for the Headmaster K-Yr12 when required and fulfil the following roles:
- Deputy Headmaster Student Management and Administration (Students) is directly responsible for student management Yrs 7-12 together with the Dean of Students and the General Duties Masters and also for the day to day administration of Senior School routines.
- Deputy Headmaster Professional Learning and Compliance K-Yr12 (Staffing) is responsible for staffing and compliance issues at the School. This includes the recruitment, selection, orientation, professional development and reviewing of all staff K-Yr12 and the monitoring of all compliance issues related to the School.

Is responsible for all non educational matters including finance, IT, maintenance of facilities and building development.

Coordinates all sport and co-curricular activities, the Year-Planner, the House system, Cadets and Outdoor Education. |

Dean of Students

Coordinates student welfare through the School Counsellors, Welfare Case Manager, General Duties Masters, Year Masters, House Tutors and the Student Administration Office. In addition, the Dean of Students is responsible for Student Leadership, the overseas student exchanges, locker areas, school photographs and Year group formals.

Dean of Studies

The Dean of Studies at Knox is responsible for the academic and scholarship programs in the Senior School. The Dean of Studies answers directly to the Headmaster and School Council. This role includes the coordination of the external and internal testing programs including NAPLAN Years 3–9, the co-ordination of the various Heads of Department and faculties, the organisation of classes and class placement for Years 7-12, subject selections for Years 9-12 and liaison with the Board of Studies for student enrolments and external examinations in Years 10-12. The Dean of Studies also oversees the work of the three K–6 Curriculum Co-ordinators and assists the Registrar with enrolments in Years 3–12.
