Senior : Other Activities : Overview
While a wide range of co-curricular activities is available at Knox, the more impressive thing is just how many boys participate in them. Gone are the days of boys being perceived as "nerds" for playing chess, speaking in public or being in the school play or orchestra. Today, the combination of extra activities undertaken by students is truly impressive as they stretch themselves across a wide range of interests. It is typical to see the head cadet starring in the school play, a 1st XI cricketer in the Symphonic Wind Ensemble or the Captain of Squash as a star debater. And at a less elite level, a large group of boys participate in a wide range of activities. Failure at Knox is not losing; failure at Knox is not trying. It is one thing to offer the activities - it is another to create an open and welcoming environment that encourages boys to get involved in those activities and find new interests and pleasures.
Use the navigation bar at the left to find out more about the wide array of co-curricular activities available to Knox students....and then get in touch with the nominated contact and take advantage of those opportunities.
