Contact List - SRC
The Student Representative Council provides a vehicle for the student voice to be heard in relevant School matters. Each year group elects two students, whose chairman is from Year 11. Some of the ways the SRC contributes to school life is through providing:
- Proposals and feedback: From time to time students have concerns over such matters as timetable, School Award system, library, tuck-shop, house activities. When these concerns arise, at tutor group level, "works groups" made up of SRC members will work with interested students to produce written reports on these concerns for submission to the School Administration.
- Activities: In response to student/teacher demand, SRC members work with interested students to organise year/house/School activities, such as formals, Gala Day activities, dances/discos.
- Fundraising and charity support: The SRC will not fundraise for itself or the School, but can help improve the organisation of fundraising activities for external charities.
