Exploring Pompeii, the Colosseum and the WWI battlegrounds of Flanders and The Somme were among the highlights of the Knox History Trip, held in December.

Forty Knox students from Years 11 and 12 visited the United Kingdom, France and Italy on the three week trip.

Highlights of the trip included:
  • Visiting the Globe Theatre, Westminster Abbey and Churchill War Room in the United Kingdom
  • Experiencing the Menin Gate ceremony in Ypres and seeing the WW1 battlefields/cemeteries in France
  • Seeing the Colosseum and the Vatican
  • Sampling the delicious food of France and Italy

The Knox History Tour is held every two years and aims to provide enriched 'hands-on' history experience for boys studying Modern and Ancient History at Knox.
