It's been a moving, enlightening and life-changing few weeks for the students who took part in our Cambodia Immersion program.
Knox Grammar School
This immersion, in partnership with Ravenswood School for Girls - Official Site, provides opportunities for our students to experience the world beyond Knox and make a difference to the lives of others.
Travelling in three small groups over 12 days, the students volunteered their time at several community schools, saw world heritage listed Angkor Wat, learnt about Cambodian food, history and language and visited the Khmer Rouge Killing Fields.
"It's hard to explain the depth and breadth of emotions and experiences that we felt and have been told today," the students reflected after visiting the Killing Fields. "There are scarcely words to describe the sensations and wall of emotions that hit all of us."
