Agriculture students win bronze at Sydney Royal Easter Show


Students studying Agriculture at Knox have won two bronze medals at the Sydney Royal Easter Show Beef and Steer Cattle Competition.

The team of 18 students exhibited three steers at the Royal Easter Show: a purebred Angus steer, a Limousin cross and a Charolais cross. The Knox students competed in the School Steer and Carcase Championship, with the Angus and the Limousin steers winning bronze medals.

The Angus purebred steer was kindly donated by Knowla Livestock and was raised and prepared for the show at the Knox Grammar Agriculture Plot in Wahroonga.
