Boys hit the slopes on annual ski trip

In the winter school holidays, 42 Knox boys visited the Snowy Mountains on the annual Knox Snow Sports Trip.

The group stayed at Thredbo River Inn at the base of the ski field, enjoying the best ski in and out facilities Thredbo has to offer. The boys enjoyed lessons each morning and skiing with friends in the afternoon for seven days.

The boys also competed in both the Northern NSW Interschools Snowsports Championships as well as the Knox/PLC Champs held at Perisher.

Knox students were very successful, with over 20 boys qualifying to compete at the State Championships in late August.

The Knox Year 7 and 8 teams came 1st and 2nd in Alpine, 1st and 3rd in Moguls and 2nd in Skier X.  Knox came 3rd overall third in the competition.

Plans are already underway for the 2013 Knox Snow Sports Trip.
