Decathlon winners announced


More than 2,300 of the state’s sharpest young thinkers visited Knox last week for the da Vinci Decathlon.

The Knox da Vinci Decathlon, now in its tenth year, saw 300 teams of eight students compete in 10 disciplines including code breaking, engineering, mathematics, English, science, philosophy and games of strategy. The event is open for students from years 5 to 10.

This year’s overall winners were:

  • Trinity Grammar Preparatory School (Year 5)
  • Cranbrook Junior School (Year 6)
  • Pymble Ladies College (Year 7)
  • Knox Grammar School (Year 8)
  • Sydney Girls High School (Year 9)
  • Trinity Grammar School (Year 10)
