One way flow
This event is a significant logistical undertaking, with capacity limits which we need to carefully manage. We sincerely apologise for any delays this may cause.

For the enjoyment of all guests, we have implemented a one-way flow system for guests visiting the JAPAC. Please follow the directions of staff and prefects.

Closure of the JAPAC from 5.30pm-7.15pm
Please note, the building will be closed from 5.30pm-7.15pm for the official opening of the building (an invite only event) in the auditorium. Visitors are warmly invited to make their way to the Great Hall to watch a video link from 6pm.

Smoking Ceremony
At 3.45pm, a smoking ceremony performed by David Barnett and Jakkamurra Gary Simon from Guringai Culture will take place at the main entrance to the JAPAC building on Woodville Ave.

Knox Pipes & Drums performance
The Knox Pipes & Drums will perform on the JAPAC outdoor terrace on Woodville Ave at 5.30pm.

Knox Tech Crew display
Behind every great production is a great support team. Twenty-six students from Years 7 to 12 from the Knox Tech Crew, working closely with staff from the AV Department, have provided assistance to light up six different spaces, fill vital stage crew roles and help to video link the Official Opening to the overflow viewing area in the Great Hall.

Official Opening video link
Please join us in the Great Hall from 6pm for a video link of the official opening from the main auditorium featuring student performances.

Food and drinks
Please note, the Junior Academy Canteen will be closed. Snacks and drinks are available at the KG1 Building Canteen (access via the Lawson Centre), located near Knox 1 Oval. We kindly ask that no food and drinks are consumed in the JAPAC.

Parking and transport
We are expecting a large number of pedestrians around the JAPAC site. For pedestrian safety, we will not be opening the JAPAC car park for Knox Imagine and no on-site parking is available for parents. Limited street parking is available nearby. We encourage parents and students to please use public transport.
