Congratulations to the Year 9 and 10 students who competed at the National Future Problem Solving Competition in Melbourne.
The Year 9 Middle Division Team (Aedan Curtis, Manan Luthra, Jalen Ren, Danuka Tenakoon), coached by Mr Dylan Sherman (OKG12), was champions in the Action Plan Presentation and third in the Team Booklet. The Team has qualified to attend the 2015 International Conference at the University of Iowa, USA.
The Year 10 Senior Team (Jackson Chen, James Paik, Seyoon Ragavan, Henry Shen), coached by Mr Matt Stephens, was placed third in both the Team Booklet and the Action Plan Presentation.
Lachlan Mitchell was voted as co-winner of the E Paul Torrance Youth Award for contribution to Future Problem Solving within Australia over the last five years. Lachlan’s award was presented at the opening ceremony of the competition.
