Joshua Lee, one of the recipients, receives a prize at the Knox Presentation Day.
Members of the Knox class of 2010 have received national recognition for their Higher School Certificate results, receiving the highly regarded 2010 Australian Student Prize from the Federal Government.
This prestigious prize is part of an Australia Government initiative to recognise and reward the academic excellence and achievement of students right across Australia. Although the criteria may vary slightly from state to state, all prize winners must be nominated by their State Minister for Education.
Even more remarkable is that of the 154 recipients from NSW on the Federal Minister’s official list, seven are from Knox [some recipients choose not to have their names published]; an extraordinary result from an extraordinary group of students.
Congratulations to David Barnes, Jonathan Brennan, Thomas Farmakis, John Goldie, Joshua Lee, Anthony Zonaga and Kurt Daley, who all received a certificate and a $2000 prize.
