The School has welcomed its new chaplain, the Rev Peter Robinson, and his wife Vivienne to the school community.
Peter will oversee the spiritual care of boys from Kindergarten to Year 12 and will coordinate worship for the Knox community.
Reflecting on his new position at Knox, Rev Robinson said, “I look forward to offering support, care and encouragement to the students and staff at Knox. This is a big change from police education and critical incident response, but as I adjust to this new role I will be drawing on past experience in the hope of making a valuable contribution to the community at Knox.”
Peter is originally from Young in south-west NSW, where he grew up in a farming family. After working on the land himself, he moved into theological education and parish work in Tenterfield and Albion Park. He has been a senior chaplain for the NSW Police Force at the NSW Police Academy at Goulburn for the past seven years.
“Rev Robinson will bring a wealth of experience to the school and we warmly welcome him to our school and the North Shore community,” said Headmaster John Weeks.
