Prep School Knoxfest

Perhaps you heard the whisperings in the halls of the inaugural Knoxfest that was held on Wednesday, 12 October! Over Term 3 the Year 5 boys worked in small groups to write a screenplay, shoot scenes and edit footage to create their very own movie. Word has it that the teachers dusted off their acting talents to create one as well.

On the evening, our budding movie makers arrived with their parents to screen the movies and enjoy a celebration of their work. The Great Hall was transformed into a red and gold theatre. Students and teachers were transformed into an interesting array of movie characters, some long forgotten! A huge thank you to Chris Gray (ICT Integrator) and John Larkin (Writer in Residence) for their hours of labour in facilitating, editing, creating, decorating and chasing, to make it all come together for the night. We look forward to making this an annual project.
