Prep students win National Engineering Award

Congratulations to Prep students Thomas Reid, Angus Haddow and Callum Haddow (‘The Community Techsperts’), who won a National Engineering Award for their road safety education package for St Lucy's School and Knox students in the National BHP Science and Engineering Awards.

The boys surveyed the school community and designed a robotics and software based educational package to help teach students road safety.

A second Knox team, ‘Exercise Tech’ (Thomas Reid, Ellis Merrett and Tawhid Rahman), were awarded a Primary Encouragement Award for their work to measure the accuracy of wearable fitness trackers and create their own improved fitness tracking suit.
