Sydney Kings visit Knox

The Sydney Kings Basketball Team visited Knox Grammar on Tuesday for a training session and a ‘meet and greet’ with students.

The players trained in the School basketball courts and used the School Weights Room and Aquatic Centre. They also provided skills workshops and motivational talks for 160 Year 6 boys from the Prep School.

“It was a great opportunity for our students see and be inspired some of Australia’s top basketball players,” said Knox Basketball Coach Dom Finlay. “The boys helped out by catching and returning balls.”

Basketball has grown to become the highest participation summer sport at Knox Grammar, with more than 400 boys playing in the Senior School across 39 teams.
