Year 12 Knox student attends Canada-Wide Science Fair

Year 12 Knox student James Priest is one of six Australian students in Canada participating in the 51st Canada-Wide Science Fair at Charlottetown.
The Turramurra resident was selected to attend the event at the University of Prince Edward Island after participating in the National Youth Science Forum in Canberra in January.
Around 500 leading Canadian science students are attending the fair. Jamie and the other Australian students are hosting a stand to promote science and technology in Australia.
James is currently taking chemistry and physics for the HSC and plans study science at university next year.
“I like learning about things in everyday life such as how electronics work in a house and how mobile phones work,” he said. “It’s great learning about the link between theory and application.”
