Old Boys who have represented KGS Cricket from 1949 - 2023 celebrated the 100-year history of the sport at Knox over breakfast at Curagul on 10 February.
After a bacon and egg roll, and welcome from KGS Headmaster Scott James and OKGA President, Rob Johnson (OKG78), Bruce Wood OAM (OKG74) facilitated interviews with cricketers who have contributed to Knox Archives' Oral History program.
Panellists included Roger FitzSimons (OKG62), Anthony Stuart (current 1st XI coach), Chris Green (OKG11), Matt Nicholson (OKG92) and John Laurie (OKG52).
Special guests at the function included former Chairmen of Knox Council, Grahame Mapp AM and Peter Roach (OKG79), and Trinity Grammar Headmaster Timothy Bowden.
The current Knox 1st XI then took to the field for their match against Trinity Grammar.
