Knox cyclists have had success on the roads and in the mountains.

Matt Dinham (Year 10) competed in the 2016 Australian Mountain Biking Championships in Bright, Victoria, where he was crowned National Champion in the U17s Cross Country event. Matt also won bronze in the Downhill event.
Meanwhile Luke Routledge was the overall winner in the 80km Bobbin Head Cycle Classic on Sunday, his first event since breaking his arm and collarbone in 2015. He finished the ride in 2 hours and 15 minutes; the event raises awareness and funds for mental health and suicide prevention.

“We were motivated to invent a tool that would help the community and society, by making an application not just for us students,” said Daniel (Year 11). “From what I’ve observed, our Student Administration Officer takes a lot of phone calls about student absence, and she could have more time to be focused on more meaningful tasks.”
