Under the lights of the Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre, the 2023 Knox Track and Field Team fired up to achieve 2nd place with a total 628 points.

The annual carnival is a fantastic occasion and showpiece event for the Combined Associated Schools and the Tartan Army was out in force.
Track and Field Captains Ollie Davey (Y12), Leo Phijidvijan (Y12) and James Harden (Y11) were inspirational in their leadership of the team, which netted 20 1st placings.
There was a scintillating finish to the night in the 4x100m Relays, where the 16 Year Olds 4x100m Relay team gathered momentum to jump from 5th to 1st over the last two legs of the race.
Head of Knox Sport and Aquatic Academy Mr Martin Haywood said he was “incredibly proud” of all athletes.
“They’ve come together as a team to perform at an elite level and accomplish outstanding results,” Mr Haywood said.
“Many members of the team had notable personal bests and records on the night and our Tartan Army was phenomenal in their support of the team.
“Congratulations to Trinity on first place for 2023.”
A special mention of record-setter Archie Hetherington (Y7), who finished on 2:07.54 in the Boys 13 800m.

Year 7 students Jeremy and Jayden selected Knox iconography that resonated with them to feature in the design of a centenary stained-glass window. Their chosen icons blend the old and new, honouring our history and traditions, while also celebrating present day life and future innovation.

A squad of 11 Knox students delivered an outstanding week of performances at the School Sport Australia Swimming Championships, held at the Sleeman Aquatic Centre in Brisbane. The students achieved 17 Gold medals, 22 Silver medals, and six Bronze medals.
