
The Knox Chess Team has won the the NSW Schools Junior Chess State Championships.

After 12 weeks of competition, including five 'knock-out' finals rounds, the Knox Junior Chess Team (Timothy Leong, Aleksy Ginovic, James Jiang, Stanley Tang, Christopher Ai, Peter Zhang and Keane Ngyun, coached by Viney Kumar, Year 12) emerged the best of 120 schools after beating Sydney Grammar School in the grand-final to win the NSW State Junior Schools Teams Championships last Friday.
