Knox Year 11 student Barney Allen has reached the summit of Mount Elbrus (5,642m) the highest mountain in Russia and Europe.
Conditions were challenging with strong winds and very cold weather. Mt Elbrus is located in the Russian Caucuses.
Barney is likely the youngest Australian to climb Mt Elbrus.
