A new ‘STEM Lab’ club for students with an interest in technology, robotics and computing has just been launched at the Senior School.
Knox Grammar School
‘STEM’ combines the exploration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths through practical projects and skill development. Through this weekly club on Thursday afternoons, the boys can hone their STEM skills and work on personal projects.
The program will also include activities for parents including an opportunity to learn computer coding and how to create a webpage.
Participants will also take part in WebComp and National Computer Science School Challenge, both projects run by School of Computer Science at Sydney University.
Boys in the Prep also have opportunities to develop STEM skills through after school Robotics, Technology and Computing clubs.
