
Boys in Year 5 showcased their amazing work with more than 40 charities at the Prep 'Compassion in Action' Expo last week.

Earlier in the year, the boys were asked to pick a charity or organisation and put their 'compassion in action' by volunteering for the cause.



The boys supported more than 40 organisations including UnitingWorld, Orange Sky Australia, Enngonia Public School, The Salvation Army Australia, Conservation Volunteers Australia and many more.
On Friday, they had the opportunity to demonstrate their experiences and work to an audience of students, teachers and parents.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Mr Marsden Carr Hordern’s OAM, VRD, DLitt (Hon) (OKG39) passing. Aged 103, Marsden passed away in Sydney on 17 October 2025. Marsden – student 329 – was Knox Grammar School’s oldest known living Old Boy.
