CENTENARY STORIES

First School Flag presented to Knox

The first School flag was presented to Knox Grammar School in 1929 by the mother of Forbes Officer (OKG30). The blue flag featured the school motto, a black St Andrew’s Cross and a white thistle. The flag is proudly held by Burton Munnings (OKG30) and Norman Winter (OKG31).

Over the years, School flags have been proudly used at many School sporting events including CAS Track and Field and Swimming. The original design remains largely unchanged.
