CENTENARY STORIES

Innovation Wrapped in Tradition

Mr Mark Kelly and Mr Michael Beilharz from the iHub with competition winner Eric H (Year 7) and Mrs Julie Mason from the Heritage Centre

In a collaboration between the Knox Junior Academy, the Heritage Centre and the iHub, we are delighted to share the outcome of an innovative project that connects our students with Knox's distinguished history.

Year 7 students researched our School's heritage and traditions to design a centenary stained-glass window for the Knox Heritage Centre. Using professional design software, students created digital representations incorporating iconic Knox imagery.

We proudly acknowledge Eric H’s exceptional contribution. His design was selected and installed in the Heritage Centre during the year. His work masterfully integrates numerous elements of Knox's history and values, creating a compelling visual narrative of our school's journey.

We invite our community to visit the Knox Heritage Centre to view this remarkable addition that bridges our rich traditions with contemporary artistic expression.
