Each Year 5 boy was asked to pick a charity or cause of their choice, research the organisation and find practical ways to contribute to the cause.
The emphasis of this project is on giving time and effort rather than money. This activity is not only important in supporting the community, it also shows the boys the wide range of ways to help, whilst also showing that all citizens can make a difference, regardless of age.
More than 50 causes were supported by the boys including Beyond Blue, Camp Quality, CARE Australia, Fred Hollows Foundation, RU OK? Monika's Rescues, Lifeline, Headspace and White Ribbon.
