Dr Stuart MacKenzie Morson (OKG30)

Knox's #38 Student 1925

Stuart was the 38th student enrolled at Knox. He attended the School as a boarder from 1925 to 1930. He was in the 1st XV Rugby team receiving the Captain Robert William Aspinall MC Memorial Prize in 1929 and Colours in 1930.

Stuart was on the Kirby Shield Squad, the Grammarian Committee, and he participated in Track and Field and Debating.

Stuart placed first in his Form in each year he attended the School and won the Drawing and Divinity Prizes in 1928 and 1929. In his final year, Stuart was the School House Captain, School Prefect, Cadet Under Officer and Dux of the School.

After school, Stuart studied science at the University of Sydney on a St Andrew’s Scholarship. In 1938, he studied Medicine and was one of the School’s first Medical doctors.

Stuart’s brother, Robert (OKG29) and his nephew, Robert (OKG60) also attended the School.
