1924 1st XV Rugby Team
Ian (pictured fourth from left, back row) was the fifth enrolled student of Knox. He attended the School from 1924 to 1926.
He was one of the older students to enter the School at 13-years-old. He was a member of North House and participated in House competitions. He played on the School’s first 1st XV Rugby team in 1924. After school, Ian was the first Knox student to enlist in the Armed Forces. He later became a salesman.
