After school, Theodore studied Law at the University of Sydney and worked for Marcus Clark Ltd. He married Kathleen Crossing in 1941 and they had a son. He enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force in 1940 and sadly, was a casualty of war in January 1942. He is remembered on the Old Knox Grammarians' Association (OKGA) War Memorial.
Since 1945, the T Marcus Clark Memorial Prize for the Captain of Cricket has been awarded on Speech Day. In 1993, he was remembered in the OKGA Honouring Service.
His cousin John Byron Marcus Clark (OKG33) attended the School and is also remembered on the OKGA War Memorial.
