  • Live-in male and female Heads of Stage, who are Knox teachers, work with a team of staff to support your son
  • Live-in Assistant Heads of Stage
  • House Managers (‘House Mums’) work with individual boys and families
  • Dedicated International Student Liaison Officer


  • Structured and supervised homework and study sessions, assisted by visiting Knox tutors in core subjects and major electives
  • All evening study sessions supervised by Knox teachers
  • Regular seminars on topics such as essay writing, exam technique and time management


  • Fully integrated life skills programs for Years 7-12 boarders
  • Topics and skills include cooking, first aid, driving skills, surf safety and public speaking
  • Busy social program including events with neighboring girls’ schools and activities such as trips to the beach, major sports games, theatre and more

Boarding at Knox


  • Boarders enjoy after-hours access to school facilities such as the aquatic centre, gym, basketball and squash courts and playing fields
  • On-site 24/7 medical clinic staffed by fully qualified and experienced nursing sisters, who stay in overnight accommodation


  • Meals for the boarding community are provided by a professional caterer seven days per week
  • Nutritionally balanced menu prepared by a qualified dietician

Knox attends the Boarding Schools Expos, the Mudgee Small Farm Field Days and AgQuip in regional NSW and the AEAS Hong Kong Exhibition in June of each year.
