Discover Knox Years 3-6 2027

We extend a warm welcome to our new boys and families joining Knox Prep in 2027, while also welcoming back those who are continuing their journey with us in Years 3-6.

This page contains everything you need to prepare for the year ahead, including information about uniforms, resource lists, sport, clubs, music programs and required forms.

Please note that some information may be particularly relevant to families who are new to Years 3-6 or joining Knox Prep for the first time, while other information applies to all students and families.

For New Families:

Knox Parent Portal: Knoxi

Before accessing the Knox Parent Portal (Knoxi), you will need to set up your Knox account. You will receive an email fromhelpdesk@idmail.knox.nsw.edu.au with the subject line ‘Welcome to your Knox Grammar School Parent Account’ containing details about how to set up your account. Access to the Knox Parent Portal (Knoxi) will then give you access to Clipboard in order to complete your compulsory sport selections and other registrations. You will receive a separate email from our IT team on 14 or 15 October, with details, username and password to be able to access the Knox Parent Portal (Knoxi).

Included are a number of booklets which contain key information for boys and families.

Renaissance Program (Years 5 and 6)

All students commencing in Year 5 2027 along with new families in Year 6 2027 are asked to complete the Renaissance Years Questionnaire. Existing Year 5 2026 families do not need to complete this form.

Sport

Sport is a compulsory component of the School program.

Prep Summer Sports Selections for 2027 will open on Friday 16 October at 6.00pm and close on Wednesday 21 October 2026, at 10.00am via Clipboard.

Resources and Stationery

Information about resources and stationery can be found on page 29 of the 'Discover Knox Years 3-6 2027' booklet. Orders should be placed by 2 December 2026.

Knox iPad Program

Technology at Knox is deeply integrated into our learning environment, with a strategic focus on student-centred creativity and engaging, personalised learning experiences from Kindergarten to Year 6.

After School Care

After School Care is provided by OSHClub. All new students at Knox Prep must register for OSHClub, which continues for the duration of their enrolment at the School. The OSHClub registration process does not incur a fee; however, it does give peace of mind should families get caught up at work or in traffic.

Mandatory Data Collection

In preparation for the 2027 school year, we request that you log in to your Parent Lounge account, check your contact details, Student Background (MCEECDYA details), and enter or update medical details for your son.

We ask that you do this by 9 January 2027.
