Years 8-11 2026 Orientation Hub

We extend a warm welcome to Knox as you join our Senior School community.

This Orientation Hub includes important information about uniform appointments, textbook and resource lists, sport and music programs, and mandatory forms.

To help you and your son prepare for starting in 2026, a checklist is provided below.

Please note this information is for new students in Years 8-11 starting at Knox in 2026.

Knox Parent Portal

To access the Knox Parent Portal (Parent Lounge), you will need to have first set up your Knox account.

You will receive an email between 28 September and 9 October from helpdesk@idmail.knox.nsw.edu.au with the subject line ‘Welcome to your Knox Grammar School Parent Account’ containing details about how to set up your account.

Important Documents

Included in your Orientation pack are a number of booklets which contain key information for boys and families.

Sport

Our Sports department will contact you by separate email to request your son’s sport choice for Term 4.

Textbooks and Stationery

Information about textbooks and stationery is on page 20 of the Orientation Booklet. Please refer to your e-orientation email for textbook information.

Knox Laptop Program

The Knox Senior School Laptop Program Acknowledgement Form is to be printed and signed by both the parent/guardian and the student and then brought to school with you at the time of collection of the laptop. Laptops will not be issued without a signed copy of this form. There are no exceptions.

Mandatory Data Collection

Once you have been issued your login details, please check your contact details, Student Background (MCEECDYA details), and enter or update medical details for your son.

Our Clinic staff will be reviewing all medical information entered. Should you wish to contact the Clinic staff, their email address is clinic@knox.nsw.edu.au.
