Boarding Enrolment Expression of Interest

APPLYING FOR BOARDING AT KNOX

We welcome boarding applications for Years 7-11 regional and overseas students placements. Please note that placements are limited and offered selectively, with a boarding enrolment interview as a vital part of the selection process. It is the School’s policy to only enrol overseas students on Student Visas as Boarder students, at the Senior School level, from Year 7 to Year 12.

HOW TO SUBMIT AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

The first step in the application process for a Boarding position is to submit an Expression of Interest form. Knox Grammar School will respond and you may be invited to complete the Application for Enrolment form if there are places available, or outlining options for enrolment.

Part of the Expression of Interest will entail creating a profile on our online enrolment dashboard. All communications and information regarding enrolment will be based on the information provided.

Essential information about the student and parents is collected through the Expression of Interest form and you will be required to upload a copy of the student’s birth certificate and other information during this stage.

There is strong demand for positions at Knox Grammar School and some year groups reach enrolment capacity several years in advance of commencement. It is strongly advised to apply well in advance.

It is recommended that families applying for overseas students use the services of an education agent. The school has long-standing relationships with trusted agents in various countries, and is happy to assist in this regard. See here for our approved international education agents.

Please note that an enrolment at Knox Grammar School is generally in the academic year and calendar year offered by the School. Deferring an enrolment is not guaranteed and may be considered in exceptional circumstances. Please refer to the Conditions of Enrolment clause 4.5. We suggest that you consider your son’s education pathway carefully before submitting an application for enrolment, and accepting an offer to reserve a confirmed place in the academic year and calendar year offered by the School.
