Matthew Dunn OAM

Matthew (Matt) Dunn OAM was appointed to the Council in 2019. He is a member and Chair of the School’s Infrastructure Committee. He is also a former student of the School (OKG91).

Matt is an experienced property executive with expertise in property development, capital transactions, strategic advisory, and real estate finance. He has also been CEO/Executive Director/Owner of a scale-up food technology and manufacturing business providing firsthand experience across all aspects of business administration and leadership.

As an athlete in the sport of swimming, he was a member of the Australian Swim Team for more than ten years, including three Olympic Games (1992, 1996, 2000), and achieved four World Records.

He is currently Vice President of World Aquatics, President of Oceania Aquatics and a Board member of Swimming Australia.

Matt is a parent of a son who graduated from the School in 2024 and also of two other sons who are currently at the School.

Matt holds a Master of Commerce. He was also awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2009 for service to swimming and to the community through the Asthma Foundation. In 2000, Matt was awarded the Australian Sports Medal for his contribution as a competitor for swimming.
