OKGA : Introduction
| The Old Knox Grammarian's Association is a wonderful group of some 9,000 registered members, all of whom share the common experience of having attended Knox Grammar School.
And like any group of great diversity, they display a wide range of ages (from those who attended the school in the year it opened in 1924 to those who graduated last year), backgrounds and interests. Their careers and achievements since they left the School have taken them all in different directions to the far reaches of the globe but still they share their association with Knox.
While there have been Olympians and Paralympians, Wallabies, Hollywood stars and movie directors, Hawker Scholarship winners and Supreme Court Judges, of greatest pride always remains the high calibre of men who take their place within society and the OKGA.
The OKGA is all about staying in touch with those who share a common experience, philosophy and connection. On these pages of the website is information about the Association, how to get involved and how to connect with other OKGs.
We particularly encourage OKGs to visit the Online Directory section (in the menu bar at the left) and register for online updates.
It is by making the effort to stay in touch we can all be sure that an education at Knox truly does last a lifetime.
Knox Kayakers Make Trans-Tasman History
Congratulations to James Castrission and Justin Jones (both OKG 2000) who have paddled themselves into the record books by successfully completing the first kayak crossing of the Tasman. They were welcomed in the North Island port city of New Plymouth on Sunday 13 January, 61 days after setting out from Forster, NSW.
