Volunteering at Enngonia (rural NSW)

Helping other people is a strong focus at Knox and all boys are involved in many community service projects.

Our social justice programs provide boys with opportunities to develop an understanding of the world beyond Knox.

In Year 10, all boys spend a week volunteering their time at a local charity or community project.

Some of our recent social justice projects have included:

  • Coordination of the annual ABBOX of Fun Camp for children with a disability
  • Support of the Enngonia community in far western NSW
  • Partnerships with the Milne Bay community in Papua New Guinea
  • Fundraising and partnerships with White Ribbon Day, Legacy, Bear Cottage, The Variety Club of Australia, The Salvation Army, KYDS, Diabetes Australia, Wesley Mission and Uniting World
